The tag markings "SIMINT S.p.A" confirm this item was specifically made in Italy between 1987 and 1992; I'm erring on the side of caution and saying '92 as I don't want to be incorrect in claiming it's late 80's. Tag markings changed to "G.A. Operations S.p.A" in '93 onwards. If you know better than I, please let me know!
